WHAT: 40th Annual -Corvallis Fall Festival

WHEN: September 22 & 23, 2012 -- always the 4th full weekend in September.

HOURS: Saturday 10-6, Street Dance 6-10, Sunday 10-5

WHERE: Beautiful Central Park, Corvallis, Oregon

WHY: An Art Party in Central Park

WHO: Corvallis Fall Festival is a not-for-profit with the mission to serve, support and showcase the Corvallis community, while helping local arts and crafts thrive.

NEW THIS YEAR:

Fine Arts Showcase is the entire month of September in The Arts Center this year to help celebrate our 40th Anniversary. See the finalists from this year's poster contest, as well as artwork from 40 local artists whose work we think you should know about. Dates for the show are September 3-28. Reception and gala Kick-off for our 40th Annual will be 6-8 pm, Friday September 21. The Arts Center is located a 700 SW Madison.

The Art Circle will be a spot in the middle of the entire fair where adults can find demos and interactive art play: painting, yarn arts, mosaic, glasswork.

Eco-Smart Food Court Returns -- all serving ware will be compostable or recyclable so there is even less waste. Last year we reduced waste to landfill from 30 yards to less than 6. We'll be working to do even better this year.

The 160 booth arts and crafts fair is the main event. Many local artists as well as regionally known artists. One artists is returning from New Zealand to do the show this year.

11th Annual Fine Arts Showcase of local artists is located in The Arts Center, 700 SW Madison St., Corvallis.

Main Stage offers continuous music all weekend long. The Saturday Night Street Dance headliner is Soul Vaccination.

Community Stage features local performance groups.

Art Discovery Zone for hands on art play for kids of ALL ages.

Great food, wine tasting and local micro brews on tap along with lights and domestics.

5k & 10k Run on Sunday Morning.
