The Young Artist Marketplace is located within the Art Discovery Zone at the Corvallis Fall Festival, in Central Park, downtown Corvallis. The Art Discovery Zone, located near the Corvallis Art center, offers free hands-on art and craft activities for the whole family throughout the festival. The 2019 Corvallis Fall Festival dates are September 28 and 29.
The Young Artist Marketplace is open on Saturday and Sunday during the festival with opening hours that mirrors those of the Art Discovery Zone.
Since the primary customers are children and families enjoying the Art Discovery Zone, all items sold in the Young Artists Marketplace cost $20 or less. Items priced around $5 tend to sell well.
The Corvallis Fall Festival Young Artist Marketplace is open to regional artists aged 8 through 18 years of age.
Artists will choose one day, Saturday or Sunday, to participate. Ocasionally, if space is available artists may partipate during both days.
After you have been accepted to participate, there will be a $5 fee due to the festival office. Please do not send this fee until you have received notification of acceptance and have been prompted to supply payment. Additional information will be given at that time.
Our Young Artists must create any object sold at their booth. Items will be priced $20 and under. We have a nominal jury process, artists submit photographs or samples of the itesm they plan to sell and we review those submissions to ensure they meet the program’s mission. We ask that you submit no more than 2-3 types of items and only sell items that were approved.
We encourage artists aged 8 through 18 to apply!
We do have standards and restrictions to protect the safety and integrity of the Young Artist Marketplace.
If you have any questions, you may phone the Corvallis Fall Festival office, 541-752-9655 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
