Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Corvallis Fall Festival! We cannot thank them enough. Volunteering for Corvallis Fall Festival is a positive experience and rewarding time-well-spent. Our volunteers’ efforts help bring the community together to celebrate the arts, and we have a lot of fun making it all happen.
Each volunteer will receive a commemorative 50th Corvallis Fall Festival tee, featuring orginal artwork by Fall Festival artist Cathy McElroy (pictured below). Long sleeve tees will be available for a small upgrade fee. Thank you for your contribution to the success of this year's community festival!
We need volunteers who will help us set up the festival on Friday then take it back down Sunday evening. Both of these projects are a great opportunity for active people to volunteer alone, with friends, or with colleagues.
Hospitality Set-up & Host: Great project for an early-riser who wants to help out, meet artists, then go enjoy the festival.
Roaming Festival Docent: We need volunteers to roam the festival distributing festival programs, checking on artists, assisting patrons with wayfinding, sanitizing park amenities, and troubleshooting as needed. Volunteers will work in pairs, so it is a great way to volunteer with a friend or make a new friend!
Food and Music Area Attendant: Greet guests, assist musicians as needed, and help keep picnic tables clean & sanitized.
Booth Sitters & Artist Go-fers: Art booth sitters provide short 15-20 minute breaks for our vendor artists around mid-day. This is a job for someone who enjoys interacting with the public. Booth sitters should be able to navigate the festival with a booth map, answer questions, stand for short periods of time, and sell artwork if requested.
Merchandise Sales: Sell Corvallis Fall Festival merchandise, keep the merchandise display tidy and attractive, keep accurate sales records, and answer general questions about the festival. First shift volunteers will make sure the table is set up while last shift volunteers will pack up.
Recycling & Waste Station Monitor: Help keep Corvallis Fall Festival sustainable and clean by assisting guests to place their trash in the correct receptacle.
Art Discovery Zone Assistant: Guide kids through a variety of art projects including the NEW Kids Create collaborative installation project, co-sponsored by our friends at Corvallis Parks & Rec!
